I'm Arushi, and I hail from New Delhi, India. My school days were filled with a passion for social sciences and psychology, which led me to pursue humanities. However, the COVID pandemic gave me ample time to ponder over my future. That's when I stumbled upon the concept of entrepreneurship, startups, and the tech world. The idea of creating real value for the greater number of people through building large businesses appealed to me, and I took a risk by choosing a field in commerce for my graduation, which was completely different from what I studied in school.

After starting my college online, I realized that it wasn't giving me the sense of purpose that I wanted in life. So, I decided to get my hands dirty and started cold outreach attempts. I got my first full-time internship as a product and category management intern at FrontRow, followed by another internship at LeapFinance. I then landed an apprentice position at Uber ANZ in the domain of product management, which gave me a great exposure to real-world challenges.

Taking another risk, I went to UC Berkeley for a semester exchange program, where I worked at my professor's VC firm as a growth intern. The experience was life-changing, and I am now about to graduate in July 2023 with a business degree and product experience. Throughout this journey, I have had the privilege of working with some of the most ambitious and smartest people in the startup ecosystem, and I am eager to keep learning and growing with every step.

In the future, I plan to continue working in the tech and startup ecosystem, with a focus on product management and growth. She hopes to one day start her own company and create a positive impact on society through technology.
